Principal Dentist

Dr. Amin Govani

Born in Uganda, Dr Amin Govani came to Leicester in 1972 where he was educated at Westcoates Secondary School, Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth I College Leicester, before qualifying as a dentist from Leeds University Hospital in 1989.

In January 1990 he worked as an associate dentist in Loughborough up until April 1992, where he purchased his own practice, the Govani Dental Surgery. During this time, he was a mentor and Vocational Trainer to newly qualified dentists.Dentists near me taking new patients

In the year 2000, Govani Dental Surgery was awarded an “Investors in People” award. Dr Amin Govani has gone on to train further in orthodontics, dental implantology and now facial aesthetics.

Dr. Adam Govani

Dr Adam Govani DDS qualified with Notable grade from the Universidad Europea de Madrid in 2019.

Throughout the course of 2019-2020, Adam has worked towards completing his Foundation Year within the NHS, whilst qualifying as a certified comprehensive provider of the Invisalign system. Dentists near me taking new patients

Adam has been working tirelessly towards providing the highest level of care, devoting himself to providing beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients, promoting the use of digital technology in all aspects of dentistry.

Practice Manager

Claire Spencer

Has worked with Dr Govani since 1994, where she started working as a dental surgery assistant, quickly rising in the rank from Senior Receptionist to the position of Dental Practice Manager.

Claire has a wealth of experience which she brings to Manor Dental Centre and providing a first-class service is the back bone to her work ethic.

She has completed her Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership and is always updating her knowledge by completing various relevant online courses.

Claire enjoys spending her free time with her two children, keeping fit, taking her dog on lovely walks, travelling to new places and socialising with friends.

Apprentice Dental Nurse

Simran Shaikh

Simran joined Manor Dental Centre in April 2022, currently studying towards getting her Dental Nursing Diploma.

She enjoys providing same-day crowns and watching the crowns being milled in the CEREC machine.

In her free time, she likes reading, trying out new food places with friends and binging Netflix.

Dental Hygienist & Therapist

Jusdeep Sarena

Jess qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist from the University of Sheffield in 2021. She joined the team at Manor Dental Centre in September 2022.

Committed to delivering high-quality dentistry and patient care, Jess enjoys working together with patients towards achieving better oral health and maintaining healthy gums and teeth through preventative care management.

She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and the British Society of Periodontology, which enables her to keep up to date with all of the newest innovations within dental hygiene and therapy. Dentists near me taking new patients

Outside of work, Jess enjoys travelling and exploring new places, as well as keeping fit.

Very good service (the second time now I have had a problem fixed the day before a bank holiday). This time a broken crown was fixed in 3 hours. Using computer aided design, Mr Govani scanned my teeth, designed the replacement crown and then manufactured and fitted it. It looks great - what a service!
